Paul and I had many discussions about the content of the hypnagogic “dreams” or "visions" we had before our core-experiences and we noted that they both displayed similar themes – themes like the ‘lecture hall’ or ‘lecture room’ for instance.

We knew experiences of this kind happened for a reason, and that perhaps the reason was, that the experience could raise, expand or alter an individual’s awareness – awakening the individual to the existence of 'other realities' or 'realms' of consciousness.

In other words, to create an evolutionary leap at an individual level, it certainly seemed right to us to assume that this was the reason for Paul’s core-experience in the first place and that his experience was also meant to have an effect on myself so that I too, would begin to have these experiences. I am the sort of person that likes to get to the “nitty-gritty” of something, so this of course spurred me on and gave me that extra-added energy to connect certain things together and write down the insights that came with these experiences. And of course I enjoyed doing the research.

We both came to the conclusion that if someone was going to receive knowledge from a “higher source” if you will, then it would have to be translated to that person through the medium that would best suit his or her own ‘certifiable’ preferences. In other words, it would have to manifest in such a way that the person would understand it and be likely to accept it.

This acceptance does not always happen of course because a person’s fears can also get in the way – especially if the person is opposed to an acceptance or belief in paranormal or mystical phenomena. Of course a person’s fears regarding his or her experience can also act as a ‘catalyst’ that signals others and brings them together to look into the energy behind it. In this way others may also become “awakened” – even more-so than the individual who first alerted them to it.

During my research I have discovered that many of us interpret this ‘energy phenomenon’ or Kundalini, in many different ways – and all according to our belief system, mind-set or internal-dialogue patterns. I know this, because there are also many small details that are very similar to this phenomenon – if not identical in detail.

These small details are very important because they are telling us something about the nature of the phenomenon; how it is being interpreted: why it is being interpreted in a certain way; and even “who” or “what” is generating the experience – if not the experiencers themselves!

Using other people’s accounts, I will give a few examples that relate these similar details, and I shall number these accounts for later reference. These examples are taken from the accounts of those who believe they may have been abducted by “aliens:”

1. ‘I made reference under hypnosis to a ‘dream.’ It wasn’t a dream. It was a projection, a super-advanced hologram, maybe. I was engulfed in a buzzing . . . my whole body buzzed. I felt it through the whole ‘dream,’ but while I was in the room it was almost imperceptible. I tried to look around because I was curious of the room. I remember I could see in front of me, but when I turned I couldn’t see anything in back. I looked over each shoulder, about sixty degrees to the left, about forty-five degrees to the right – nothing back there, just black. Say the middle of the ‘room’ was northward – the ‘brain’ and the screen would be north-west.’

‘. . . He showed me on the screen what looked like moving pictures, but three-dimensional.’

‘. . . The four humanoids in the room . . . the hands and feet weren’t as claw-like as I’ve indicated. That’s lack of artistic talent. They were much narrower, the fingers pointed.’

‘. . . They made minor turning movements, almost robot-like. Their appearance wasn’t robot-like, only their movements. They seemed totally oblivious to what was going on.’

‘. . . I got to the point of saying to myself, ‘This can’t be real. This is too much to take . . . I want to go home.’

‘. . . There was a build-up of this buzzing, blacking out everything, and then it was gone. Then I was in the car again, but I’d moved over from the driver’s seat just a little past the centre of the car. It wasn’t like waking up; it was as if nothing had happened . . . not even awareness. I got out of the car and went to bed.

The buzzing is very hard to describe . . . like the body was a shaver going bzzzz. Very weird, like being in a room with static, when your hair stands up and you get that prickly feeling. It was really bad during the transition. “I think the entire thing was a fantastic, beautifully executed theatre . . . a display solely for my benefit to convey something that right now is unbeknown to me. I don’t know how long it lasted. My sense of time was totally thwarted.’ [1] (My emphasis.)

  Interpretation: Alien Abduction.

2. ‘The room seemed to transform from a typically spare spaceship room with tables, curved walls, and perhaps a viewing screen into an ornate executive conference room complete with shag carpeting, mahogany panelling, and a large viewing screen.’ [2]

  Interpretation: Alien Abduction.

3. ‘The room I was looking into was about twenty-five feet wide and semicircular. It was rather dark, and filled with TV screens running the full wall area, stacked upon one another three and sometimes four rows high. All sorts of pictures appeared on the screens, and strange symbols, and terrains I’d never seen. Under the screens was a type of built-in desk, a curving all along the wall. In the middle of the room was a long table with three or four chairs that were moveable. There were three beings in the chairs, two of them facing the screens and moving around, while another one at the desk area stood from time to time, moving things around.’ [3]

  Interpretation: Alien Encounter or Abduction.

How similar are these three accounts to our own experiences?

Take Account No. 1 for instance: We have the ‘beings,’ the ‘screen,’ the obvious indications of an ‘energy’ that was running through his body – i.e. the “buzzing” etc.

The “buzzing” and the other things the experiencer says about his body, is surely related to this ‘Kundalini/energy phenomenon’ which I would stress, seems to be present during these kinds of experiences.

In No. 2, we have “curved walls,” another “viewing screen,” and we also have the experiencer’s detailed description of the room being not unlike a “conference room, complete with shag carpeting and mahogany panelling.”

In No. 3, we have a room that was "semicircular" with "TV screens" everywhere. Undeer the screens was a "built in desk", a "curving all along the wall" and "beings sitting in chairs facing the screens".

In my own account, I used the terms “lecture complex,” “theatre,” “modern lecture room,” or “small cinema.” In my brother’s account, he uses the term “lecture hall.”

Another small but important detail here is that in my account I also stated that “the doors and the walls of this room were made of wood” – although mahogany would have fit my description very well because ‘mahogany’ was the word I was searching for in my mind at the time I wrote down my account.

Here’s some extracts from other accounts I have found:

4. ‘All the while, there was a strange ringing from somewhere, together with a sort of low-frequency vibration which was decidedly uncomfortable; the sort of effect that you get from standing near the speakers at a pop concert, where you not only hear the sound, but feel it passing through your body.’

‘ . . . One of the beings stood in front of Maria whilst the other two positioned themselves at her sides, and lifted her arms. A doorway of some sort had opened in front of her, and the beings led her forward. She had to stoop to get through. They veered to her left, and began to walk around what appeared to be a semi-circular corridor.’ [4] (My Italics.)

  Interpretation: Alien Abduction.

5. ‘At this point a “buzzing” in his right ear changed to a ringing sound and “I lost control of my body.” Then all Scott saw was a screen like a TV monitor that was “fritzing.” [5]

  Interpretation: Alien Abduction.

The above accounts have been taken from books whose authors are relating these experiences to so-called “alien abduction.” However, I would stress that the authors of these books are only going on the interpretation of the experiencers themselves who believe they have been abducted by an “alien intelligence.”

I am not saying that the interpretations are totally wrong, because I do feel that there is some kind of communion going on between us and an “intelligence” of some kind; but at the same time I am a little bit concerned about our interpretation of this “intelligence.”

If we go back to my core-experience, we would find all the many features that correlate with the above accounts: for instance, the “low-frequency vibration” in No. 2 that I also mentioned in my own account. These vibrations also made me feel uncomfortable even “nauseous and sick.” The “buzzing” and “ringing” in the ears. And in No. 2, we see the familiar TV screen, which the experiencer said was “fritzing.” (Snow effect?) For me this is highly significant in light of what I have since discovered. (See here)

Like Paul’s, my own experience ended with what some people would consider to be a ‘Kundalini Awakening.’

Does this mean that most, or all of these experiences – whether they are interpreted as “alien abduction,” “out of body,” near death, etc., are all related to this energy, and that it is this ‘Kundalini/energy phenomenon’ that when triggered, acts as a kind of prerequisite to these experiences and actually generates these experiences?

Well this would certainly be my opinion, having had some of these experiences myself and having listened to what my brother had to say concerning his own.

If we were to look at any paranormal experience, we would find this Kundalini phenomenon hiding somewhere behind it as we will see later. But looking at the accounts above, the particular experiences that have been accompanied by this ‘Kundalini/energy phenomenon’ have been interpreted as “alien abduction experiences!”

Experiences of these “other realities” can also be interpreted as like a dream; the content of the experience being often vague – but of course, this depends on how conscious an individual is. One could say there are also many differences.

For instance, the claimed “abductee” in account No. 1, was inside a car when his experience happened. However, these kinds of paranormal phenomena can happen anywhere if our minds are receptive to them in someway; or our minds are in the right circumstances to perceive another dimension or reality. Exactly what these circumstances are we will have to leave until we have gone through the following presentations about our insights into our own experiences.

In our own case, this energy translated itself through the medium of a “dreamscape” that featured lecture rooms and TV sets: things that would appeal to Paul and I, because the thought of being able to educate ourselves by attending lectures and watching documentaries on TV is something we would take seriously. So then, this extra energy that we had “tapped” into while going through our core-experiences, “awakened” us and translated its higher knowledge to us through the medium of specialised symbols that meant something to us personally.

Of course similar symbols will crop up in other people’s accounts as we have seen above, and this would mean that these individuals would have the same preferences – to a larger or lesser degree – as my brother and I do regarding the way in which the experience and the messages it may contain is being communicated. This explanation finds some verification in the following:

In account No. 1, you may have noticed that the “abductee” said that he thought “the entire thing was a fantastic, beautifully executed theatre . . . a display solely for my benefit to convey something that right now is unbeknown to me.”

In other words her thoughts were that her interpretation of the experience was somehow being manipulated for her benefit – i.e., the information she was receiving was being manipulated so that it would agree with the perception and experience she has of her own reality and what she was more likely to accept.

In regard to account No 2, I thought I would leave these other extracts from the account until this part of this presentation. The full account can be found in Professor, John E. Mack’s book, Abduction: Human Encounters With Aliens.

John Mack takes up the narrative:

6. ‘As Catherine recalled when she reviewed the tape of this session, she had the impression that “the more I thought of a corporate executive conference room, the more it appeared,” but when she realized that this was a kind of staging, the conference room “images just melted away to reveal the previous images, and finally the actual room.”

During the regression she was aware of the simulation of a conference room and objected to their concocting this just for her benefit. But she was told, “We have to have a conference room so that you can be in that kind of serious frame of mind instead of making your usual smart-ass remarks that you always do.” “When this happened,” Catherine observed, “I was just starting to not fight them. I was just at the very beginning. I’m not where I am now.” The “goofy” tricks, she felt, were appropriate to her level of consciousness at the time. Once she was through the staging theatricals the room returned to its original state and Catherine was told to sit on a small, cold metal chair.’

‘ . . . Before we ended the regression, Catherine said that her next goal or “role” was to “show others the way beyond fear . . . It’s kind of like, you have mastered this lesson now, so you are fit to go show others the way” She also said that she had asserted to the beings once again that the “cheap theatrics to make your point” in creating the illusion of a big global conference room” were unnecessary. But they insisted that “It’s going to have more of an impact on you than if we just tell you this is a conference room.”

‘ . . . Catherine like other abductees suggested the things she had experienced “are like not from our space/time,” which to her was “just another example” of how “all these things are connected and you have a connection to them.” [6]
